MatchVault Terms of Service

These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and MatchVault regarding your access to and use of the MatchVault website, applications, and related services.

By creating an account, uploading content, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using MatchVault, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use MatchVault.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for keeping login credentials secure.

You must provide accurate account information and promptly update it if it changes. You may not impersonate another person or team.

MatchVault currently offers a low-cost model based on good-faith compliance. There is no match or upload cap for an authorized team subscription, but each paid subscription is limited to one wrestling team.

A single subscription may not be shared across multiple schools, a school and a club, multiple clubs, or any other multi-team arrangement. MatchVault may determine in its reasonable discretion whether uploaded content indicates use by more than one team.

MatchVault is intended to be used to record, manage, and review wrestling matches and related team footage. You may not use the service for unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or abusive purposes.

You retain whatever ownership rights you hold in the match footage and other content you upload to MatchVault.

You grant MatchVault a limited license to host, store, transcode, process, and display uploaded content solely as needed to operate, secure, improve, support, and enforce the service.

Uploaded matches are automatically deleted once they are one year old. MatchVault is not an archival or backup service. If you want a permanent copy, you must download and store it yourself before deletion.

Uploaded matches are intended to remain private to the uploading team and its authorized users within MatchVault. MatchVault does not intentionally make one team's private footage available to other teams.

To enforce the one-team subscription rule, investigate suspected misuse, protect the platform, respond to support issues, or comply with law, MatchVault administration may inspect uploaded matches and related account activity.

Except as required to operate the service, investigate misuse, comply with law, or with your consent, MatchVault will not intentionally download, distribute, or share copies of your private match footage outside your team's authorized access.

Subscriptions renew according to the billing cadence shown at checkout unless canceled in accordance with the applicable billing flow.

If MatchVault reasonably believes that a team is violating these Terms, including by using one subscription for multiple teams, MatchVault may suspend access, cancel service, remove content, or terminate the account without refund to the extent permitted by law.

Termination or cancellation does not limit any rights or remedies MatchVault may have for past misuse or unpaid amounts.

MatchVault is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. MatchVault disclaims all implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

MatchVault does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, permanent storage of uploaded content, or error-free performance.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MatchVault will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, use, or data.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MatchVault's total liability arising out of or relating to the service or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid to MatchVault for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MatchVault and its operators from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your content, your misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights.

MatchVault may update these Terms from time to time by posting the revised version in the app or on the website. Continued use after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where MatchVault's principal place of business is located, excluding conflict-of-laws rules, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
