MatchVault Privacy Policy
Effective April 11, 2026. This policy explains what MatchVault collects, how it is used, and how match privacy and retention work in the service.
We collect account, team, billing, and match data
MatchVault collects the information needed to create accounts, manage teams, process subscriptions, and store and organize match footage and related metadata.
Match footage stays private to your team
Uploaded matches are intended to stay private to the uploading team and its authorized users. MatchVault does not intentionally make one team's private footage available to other teams.
Limited provider sharing powers the service
MatchVault uses service providers such as Supabase for authentication and database services, Stripe for billing, and Mux for video processing and delivery.
Matches delete after one year
Uploaded matches are automatically deleted when they become one year old. Other records may be retained as reasonably needed to operate the service, comply with law, and resolve disputes.
Coaches can request deletion from account settings
Signed-in coach accounts can start deletion from MatchVault account settings. Coach-led team deletions remove the team account, team logins, and associated match data, subject to limited retention required by law or payment processing.
This Privacy Policy explains how MatchVault collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the MatchVault website, applications, subscriptions, and related services.
It applies to information MatchVault collects directly from you, from your team's use of the service, and from service providers used to operate MatchVault.
MatchVault collects account and team information such as names, email addresses, team name, team level, contact details you provide, login-related identifiers, and role information needed to manage coach, manager, and team access.
MatchVault collects subscription and payment-related information needed to process billing, including plan information, customer and subscription identifiers, invoice details, and transaction status. Payment card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored directly by MatchVault.
MatchVault collects match content and related metadata that teams upload or create in the service, including videos, wrestler names, team names, opponents, notes, event markers, timestamps, and related wrestling match information.
MatchVault and its infrastructure providers may also automatically receive technical information such as IP address, browser or device data, request metadata, timestamps, and diagnostic or security logs when the service is used.
MatchVault uses information to create and manage accounts, provision teams and roles, authenticate users, process subscriptions, host and deliver match footage, enable downloads, organize team libraries, and provide customer support.
MatchVault also uses information to secure the service, detect misuse, enforce the one-team-per-subscription rule, investigate suspicious activity, troubleshoot product issues, improve service reliability, and comply with legal obligations.
MatchVault shares information with service providers that help operate the service, such as Supabase for authentication and database services, Stripe for billing and subscription processing, and Mux for video processing, hosting, and streaming-related functionality.
Within MatchVault, uploaded matches and team information may be available to the authorized users associated with the same team account, such as coaches, managers, and team logins.
MatchVault may disclose information when reasonably necessary to enforce the Terms of Service, protect the rights, safety, or property of MatchVault or others, investigate abuse or fraud, comply with law, respond to valid legal process, or complete a business transfer or restructuring if one occurs.
MatchVault does not intentionally make one team's private match footage available to other teams and does not intentionally sell private match footage to third parties.
Uploaded matches are intended to remain private to the uploading team and its authorized users within MatchVault.
To operate the service, provide support, enforce the one-team subscription rule, investigate suspected misuse, protect the platform, or comply with law, MatchVault administration may access match footage, account records, and related activity on a limited basis.
Except as needed to operate the service, enforce the Terms, comply with law, or with your consent, MatchVault will not intentionally distribute or share copies of your private match footage outside your team's authorized access.
Uploaded matches are automatically deleted once they become one year old. MatchVault is not an archival or backup service, and teams should download any match they want to retain permanently before that time.
Account, team, profile, subscription, billing, and security records may be retained for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, maintain business records, enforce agreements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
Residual copies of certain information may remain in logs, caches, or backup systems until those systems are overwritten or deleted in the ordinary course.
You may update certain account and team information through MatchVault features that are available to your role. Teams are responsible for maintaining accurate information and controlling who has access to team accounts.
Signed-in coach accounts can start a team account deletion request from MatchVault account settings. Coach-led deletion removes the coach account, provisioned team logins, associated roster and match data, and any active team subscription records, subject to limited retention required by law, fraud prevention, payment processing, or backup systems that are overwritten in the ordinary course.
Manager and team-login accounts are coach-managed. If one of those logins needs to be removed or you want to revoke consent for optional communications, contact the team's coach or MatchVault support.
If you upload or manage information about athletes, students, minors, or other individuals, you represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to do so and to allow MatchVault to process that information on your behalf.
Questions or requests relating to privacy may be directed through MatchVault support.
MatchVault uses administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, but no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for notifying MatchVault promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
MatchVault may update this Privacy Policy from time to time by posting the revised version in the app or on the website. Continued use of MatchVault after the effective date of an updated Privacy Policy constitutes acknowledgment of the revised policy to the extent permitted by law.
By using MatchVault, you also agree to use the service in accordance with the rules in the Terms of Service.
